Introduction

August 6, 2021

Dear Families,

Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. We are excited to have your students back on our campuses full-time, in-person this year.

We designed this handbook to help you understand the protocols we have put in place to help students, staff, and families engage in in-person instruction as safely as possible this year. We have also sent out a Superintendent’s Briefing video to all families; that contains similar information but in a different format.

We want to reassure you that just as our protocols over the last 18 months have complied with guidelines and orders from local and state public health officials, so too do the protocols we have put in place for this fall comply with health regulations.

We fully expect that families will have questions we did not anticipate. Please know that we will add answers to those questions to this document moving forward. For more information, we also recommend watching the Superintendent’s Briefing Video that we released on August 6, 2021.

Again, we look forward to welcoming your students back to campus on August 16.

Respectfully,

Pasquale Scuderi

Superintendent
